I think that being disciplined is psychology. You can’t be disciplined without first having the psychological mindset to be that way. Discipline speaks more about the action, not the motivation behind the action, so people could be disciplined but come to that place from very different psychological places or motivations.

I agree with you …
I agree with you 100%…And I understand exactly what you mean! Me losing 66 pounds so far doesn’t have anything to do with discipline…I think that tricking my mind into enjoying my new way of life has made it easy to transition and therefore required no discipline…When we enjoy what we are doing and what we are eating and are in our “Happy Place” mentally…it all kind of falls together! Never thought I would ever find my happy place but I did! =D

When I was an …
When I was an addict 4 years, I believe it took discipline 2 figure out what did & didn’t work & do trial & error & get 2 where I learned 2 listen 2 my body. I needed discipline 2 keep on track w/ retraining my brain & it led 2 the ease of it falling into place & is now “psychology.” I want 2 do it now b/c it’s become my norm. When my focus in the past was the scale I was all 4 talking 2 people about my shedding of lbs. Now that it is about so much more, I have no desire 2 discuss it.

I think for me it’s a little of both. It’s fairly easy to eat healthy for me now but once in awhile I have to force myself because memories of my love for bad food come back and tempt me. On a seperate note, I always absolutely love your jewelery. Where do you get your jewelery from?

I think it’s a mixture of both discipline and psychology—I don’t think you can have one without the other. Because, no matter how badly you want to achieve something or how positive your mind set or attitude is about attaining a goal (the psychology), you’re not going to be able to achieve it without applying yourself (the discipline). On another note, I really like your necklace.
